Advice

We want to make sure your time at Uni is trouble free. There can be many hurdles thrown at students but we are here to help you along the way. From academic to funding, money to benefits and even housing, we give the advice you need.

Drop-ins are completely confidential so don’t suffer in silence, come along. If you just want to know the basics, check out our advice pages, they have lots of information and are jam packed with tips, giving you everything you need to get along happily.

Following a series of training sessions, the Advice Centre is designated as an official third party Reporting Centre for hate crime and other incidents. This means that as well as being able to support any student who wishes to make an official complaints or Police report, we can also make anonymous reports online; so even if you do not wish to go through the whole process, the Police can still be made aware of any incidents.

We have also been awarded membership of National Homelessness Advisory Service. This is an accreditation which is only awarded to Advice Centres that can show they are independent and are working to a aationally recognised standard.
