The Union’s action packed programme returns for October

Students will have the chance to try out loads of new activities from pole dancing to a survival weekend as Give It A Go returns.

The event has been a huge success in previous years with hundreds of students getting involved in different events across campus and beyond.

This year’s Give It A Go includes a trip to Alton Towers, open mic comedy nights and salsa dancing.

The idea behind Give It A Go is that students can try out new activities at a low cost and find something new to do.

Activities and participation officer, Tom Bailey, said: "The Give It A Go program is not only a great way of having fun, but it is an amazing opportunity for people to experience something that they never necessarily thought they would. It is also a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. I hope to see everyone there."

Give It A Go tickets are on sale from Monday 21st September 2009 at the Union reception.
