Course reps celebrate first semester

Fun, games and food at social event

Over 150 course reps gathered in the Atrium as the first social of the year brought students together from different schools.

The event featured a chance to create your own Christmas t-shirt, with prizes for the best designs, mini air hockey and a free buffet.

Union Education officer, Lindsay Bradley, said: "It was absolutely fantastic to have such a good turnout from so many course reps. We've had a record number of reps recruited and more than ever have attended training, so this was our chance to say thank you for putting in such hard work this year so far. Here's to another great six months!"

Course reps also had the opportunity to pick up their Gold Card that entitles them to discounts in the Students’ Union and other benefits such as Q-jump at Promo.

The event rewards course reps for their role in helping to make their courses and time at UCLan better.
