Mitchell & Kenyon Cinema

Mitchell & Kenyon cinema is based within the University of Central Lancashire and is run by the Students' Union and the Union's Film Society.

It's Preston's only independent cinema and hosts themed screenings and shows independent and arthouse films.

Each year we showcase the UCLan International Film Festival. Bringing together films from around the world to give students, staff and the public a flavour of something different on the big screen.

The cinema is open for bookings to UCLan staff, students and local community groups and can be booked for screenings during the main University open periods which are generally:

Mid-September to mid-December,
Mid-January to mid-April
Beginning of May to middle of May
 
We can only accept bookings for screenings between the hours:
 
6pm - 10pm Mondays to Fridays
10am - 6pm Saturdays and Sundays, term-time. 
 
The cinema is operated by current students at the University, and for this reason we regret that we cannot book screenings outside of this period.
