Give It A Go

The Union has now built the Opportunities Centre your one stop shop for part time jobs, volunteering opportunities, society information and Give It A Go activity. Based on the ground floor of the Union building, if you want to be active in the union this is the best place to find it.

Give It A Go is all about trying something new. Get involved in a wide range of weird and wonderful activities on a no commitment, no strings attached basis. You can do as few or as many activities as you like – Just pay and play!

Events are available only to students, staff and alumni of the University of Central Lancashire. You may be asked to provide proof of identification when purchasing tickets. If an event is listed as free you will still need to register for the event at the Union reception, unless otherwise stated on the events page.

Terms and Conditions

Please note that no refunds will be given if you decide not to attend the event. However if an event is cancelled by the Students' Union you will be informed via email (as long as we have your correct email adress) and you will have two weeks to claim a refund.

To help ensure you safety you are kindly requested to inform the Students' Union of any relevant medical conditions or disability that may potentially be worsened by participation in an event.

The Students' Union take all reasonable precautions to ensure your health, safety and welfare while participating in events. Participants are required to act in a safe and responsible manner at all times and must follow all safety instructions given by the event supervisor.

The Students' Union reserve the right to exclude ay person from any event who puts their own or any other persons safety at risk.
